The Meaning of Driving away Devils by Celestial Meteors in Quranic expression - 6

17:58 - 2024/04/16

In verses 16-18 of Surah Hajar, the Qur'an talks about the "protected towers" in the sky, which God protects them from the influence of "demons" with the "meteor". Is this statement consistent with new science and our understanding of meteorites?!

The occasion of the revelation of the mentioned verses:

In addition to these introductions, we say that there are several traditions that are used in the interpretation of the discussed verses. That the devils were forbidden to ascend to the heavens and were driven away by the stars during the birth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Some of them are used that were partially prohibited during the birth of Jesus (peace be upon him). and they were completely prohibited after the birth of the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him).[1]

Conclusion and expressing the best interpretation of the meaning of these verses:

From what we have said, it can be guessed that "sky" here refers to the spiritual concept and is the allusion to the sky of truth, faith and spirituality. Devils are always trying to reach this area and penetrate the hearts of true believers. As well as to the hearts of defenders of the truth through all kinds of temptations. But divine men and leaders of the right path, from prophets and Imams to the committed scholars, attack them with the powerful waves of their knowledge and piety to drive them away from approaching this sky.

It is with this interpretation that we can find the connection between the birth of the Messiah (peace be upon him) and the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) and the expulsion of devils from the sky. It is with this interpretation that we can find the connection between the ascension to heaven (spiritual sky and high position) and found knowledge of secrets. Because we know that there is no special news in this material sky except the wonders of creation that can be read even from the earth. [2]
